The Inter-municipal Agency of Western Countryside of Thessaloniki “NEFELI” was set up for the first time in 1995 as Centre of Vocational Training. It is a company of the Municipalities of Western Countryside of Thessaloniki and more specifically of the “Kalikratis” Municipalities of Delta, Chalkidona and Oreokastro. The former Mayors and Chairmen of the Communities of Western Countryside of Thessaloniki, realized the need of creation of a structure which would be able to cover the needs of the residents of the area for promotion in the employment and participation in lifelong learning programs. For this reason the first and unique C.V.T of the area has been created.
